Central Contractor Registration (CCR) - Primary vendor database for the Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, Department of Transportation (DoT), and Department of Treasury.
Consumer Products Safety Commission - CPSC - CPSC distributes valuable information on unsafe consumer products and product recalls for such items as childrens toys, clothing, autos, etc.
Canadian Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) - The Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) helps strengthen Canada's defence trade controls through registration, prevention, deterrence and detection.
Defense Technical Information Center - DTIC is a major supplier of DoD scientific and technical information, including studies and reports on management, patents, conference proceedings, defense research, DoD Directives, scientific discoveries, and related technical information in various scientific fields, such as, enviromental science, biology, chemistry, energy, physics, etc. More general information and links to information analysis centers (IACs) may be obtain through this web page.
Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) - The Directorate of Defense Trade Controls is charged with controlling the export and temporary import of defense articles and defense services covered by the United States Munitions List.
Department of Energy (DOE) - The U.S. Department of Energy’s Strategic Plan states the Department is "Protecting National, Energy, and Economic Security with Advanced Science and Technology and Ensuring Environmental Cleanup."
FAA - Federal Aviation Administration - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides information on procurements, safety, research and activities of the FAA. Links are provided to other FAA certification, civil aviation and Department of Transportation (DOT) web sites.
FAA Logistics Center - Committed to improving service to the American taxpayer and the flying public by initiating innovative concepts and exporting them to FAA and the Federal Government.
Federal R&D Project Summaries - includes more than 240,000 research summaries and awards by three of the major sponsors of research in the Federal government. The Federal databases available via this tool are the Department of Energy R&D Project Summaries; the National Institutes of Health (NIH) CRISP (Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects) Current Awards; and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Award Data.
General Services Administration (GSA) - The General Services Administration (GSA) for acquisition and distribution of commercial and general use commodities. Links are provided for the various commodities managed by GSA, as well as, access to key information related to the functions they perform.
Government Accounting Office - GAO - The GAO is the investigative arm of congress and provides on-line decisions it has made regarding procurement actions and protests by bidders. It also maintians on-line reports of audits and investigations performed for congressional committees and may be accessed electronically on the web (reports are in PDF format).
GrayLIT Network - provides a portal for over 100,000 full-text technical reports located at the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Collections in the GrayLIT collaboration include the DOE Information Bridge; the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Report Collection; the EPA National Environmental Publications Internet Site (NEPIS); the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab Reports; and the NASA Langley Technical Reports.
NIST - National Institute for Standards and Technology - The NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) web page provides links to NIST and Department of Commerce activities. It also provides access to reference materials, data, calibration standards and other services available. Links are provided to other scientific and technical organizations promoting standards information.
