The GIDEP Workshop & Clinic 2008 is undergoing a transformation. Rather than being hosted solely by GIDEP, it will be integrated into the DMSMS 2008 Conference as Technical & Training track sessions. Aligning GIDEP with the DMSMS 2008 Conference and other similar events across the country provides additional opportunities for members that have not attended before due to location.

Participants interested in presenting papers on any of the above topics are encouraged to submit their papers via the DMSMS 2008 Conference web site.

In addition to topics above, Operations Center staff will present papers on GIDEP data, products, services and topics such as:

why PARTICIPATE?

Avoid "Re-inventing the Wheel" and learn what's necessary to do the job right the first time. Learn from the experts and put GIDEP to your advantage! Conference attendees will also have access to the entire DMSMS Conference main session and tracks.

who should ATTEND?

All GIDEP participants are encouraged to attend at least one clinic/workshop every 2 years. New representatives and users are especially encouraged to attend at the first opportunity after joining.

how to REGISTER?

Registration for the GIDEP Track will be conducted through the DMSMS 2008 Conference web site. Attendees interested in attending the GIDEP sessions are required to register for the entire DMSMS conference (No separate fees for solely attending the GIDEP session are available.). Registrants will have access to attending other conference tracks/sessions. See the DMSMS 2008 Conference web site for fees and hotel information.

DAWIA Credit

As a Clinic attendee you may earn Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Continuous Learning Credit. In accordance with Continuous Learning Policy for the DoD AT&LWF dated 13 Sep 2003, attendees may be eligible to earn one continuous education credit for every 60 minutes of content with a maximum of 8 points per day & 20 points per year.
