The GIDEP focus is on improving acquisition and performance of Defense programs and systems, including network centric operations and data/information interoperability, systems engineering, part standardization and system Life cycle sustainment through the use of GIDEP.
The GIDEP Clinic provides GIDEP representatives and users with in-depth training in the GIDEP application process, submission and retrieval of data, and the submittal of the annual utilization report. Extensive hands-on training is offered during the entire Clinic. One of the primary benefits of the Clinic is the opportunity to network with a wide variety of users.
The Department of Defense, Federal Agencies, and the Canadian Department of National Defence continue to work to improve the acquisition of military equipment and capability to assist the warfighter in protecting the U.S. and its allies. The Clinic provides GIDEP members guidance on a more effective use of GIDEP to assist them along the way.
The GIDEP Calendar provides information on meetings, conferences, training events, and symposiums that may be of interest to the Defense Aerospace community. These meetings are generally not restricted to GIDEP members.
